The statues of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary are unveiled today, September 30, 2015, on the occasion of the 56th Foundation Anniversary of Cor Jesu College and the 194th Foundation Anniversary of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.
In a simple blessing ceremony attended by the contingent of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart from the Catalunan and Matina and Cor Jesu communities, as well as students. faculty, administration and staff of Cor Jesu College, the unveiling also serves as re-launching activity of the Sacred Heart Chapel Project which was originally opened during the 50th Foundation Celebration of Cor Jesu College in 2009.
This is the first gift of the alumni to Cor Jesu College as the newly registered Cor Jesu College Alumni Association Inc.
