The Chapel Project

After the gargantuan task of rehabilitating the entire campus from the devastating earthquakes of 2019, the whole community of Cor Jesu College finds the strength to push for the construction of the chapel at the Piazza del Sacro Cuore. With the finishing touches for the retrofitting of the Brother Norbert building under way, the work on the chapel project has finally started.

Capsule Laying Ceremony

Bishop Guillermo Afable D.D. of the Diocese of Digos, together with the Cor Jesu community led by Brother President Ellakim Sosmeña, S.C, graced the altar stone and capsule laying ceremony last May 12, 2023

Witnessed by members of the faculty, administration, students and alumni, the ceremony officially marked the start of the project.

Knocking on your Heart

While the alumni association has sufficient funds to start the construction, this will not be enough to finish the project, which is estimated to cost P 7 Million, furnished.

With this, we continue to appeal to the hearts of all stakeholders to help fund this project through cash and kind contributions.
