Atty. Dominador N. Calamba II, High School alumnus and class valedictorian of 1961 of the then Holy Cross Boys Department passed away last December 10, 2015. He was 70 years old.
Jun,as he was fondly called, will be remembered by the Cor Jesu College community for his valuable services as member of the Board of Trustees and legal counsel of the institution during the trying 70s. He was an active lawyer during the Martial Years as member of the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG) with the late Jose “Pepe” Diokno. He served as Regional Director of the Human Rights Commission during the GMA administration, faculty of the Cor Jesu College of Law, and as Commander of the 22nd Infantry Division (Ready Reserve) of the Philippine Army.
His remains lie in state at the Calamba residence along Quezon Avenue, Digos City. Interment is scheduled on December 19, 2015.
