Engr. Regin Gimeno donates surveying equipment to the College of Engineering

In  a simple program held at the Miserior campus engineering laboratory, Engineer Regin D. Gimeno of BS Civil Engineering Batch 1991 spoke to senior students and members of the BSCE local student government this Friday, April 28, 2023 on the occasion of the turnover of his donation of field surveying equipment to the college.

Now based in the City of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Engr. Gimeno, in his short talk, spoke of his fond memories as a civil engineering student in the late 1980’s to early 1990s, and his experiences gravitating towards his present field surveying career in the oil-and-gas rich city of Calgary. He further encouraged the students to find time to reconnect and give back to the school as they build their careers in the future.

Engr. Jonas Placer, the College of Engineering dean, emphasized the special place BSCE Bqtch 1991 holds in the history of our school’s Civil Engineering program being the best performing batch in the Civil Engineering board exam to date, with a 100% passing rate.
