Association supports radio and TV talk show The State of Mind

With a unanimous vote from the members of the board of trustees, the association approved the Silver Sponsorship of the radio and TV  talk show The State of Mind, February this year.

With the timely and relevant objective of discussing mental health topics in various platforms accessible not only to the residents of Digos City but even internationally, The State of Mind program will be broadcasted in EnergyFM 91.1,  the cable TV service in the city, as well as live on the show’s Facebook page @thestateofmind21

The State of Mind is a 60 minutes educational dialogue every Saturday at 3:00 PM, targeting Generation Z, Millennial, and Generation X that will feature experts and professionals in the field of psychiatry and psychology who will be tackling topics about mental health. The core of the show is to reduce number of suicide cases among adolescents and young people. 

The show will also feature survivors to share their journey in breaking the stigma, the decision to seek help and their experiences in their road to recovery. An artist will also be featured for a short interview on how they resonate with the discussion and will perform their winning piece to end the show.” – Flordeliza Gallego, the show’s anchor, wrote in her letter of invitation to the alumni board of trustees.

The State of Mind begins to broadcast on March 13, 2021, at 3:00 PM and every Saturday thereafter at the same time. Atty Genevieve Brandares-Paulino, Cor Jesu College dean of the Law School and notable alumna is the show host, joined by co-host for the month of March  Dr. Rogeio Bayod, the internationally-published researcher and social transformation advocate, another luminary from Cor Jesu College.
